(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: Ice Storm

The late season ice storm which hit Southern Ontario last week was certainly craptastic for many people (in terms of lengthy outages & whatnot), however we were lucky in our own neck of the woods as our power merely flickered a few times and the freezing rain resulted in some neat-o photo opps.

Were you affected by the ice storm, and if so, to what extent?

  4. Wow! Here in the West we just got more snow to add to the snow we already have, but with the weather getting a little warming now, flooding will be the next worry. That ice storm looked nasty!

  5. School was cancelled for my little one last Friday due to ice and snow. It has since rained and the snow has mostly melted. Amazing how beautiful the ice is though!

  6. I love when the ice does that! I don't think we had the right conditions here for that this year.
