Well, all things must come to an end...

...including my maternity leave! When S was born last November, one year seemed like a HUGE amount of time. Now I look back and wonder just where the heck it went!

I'll be returning to work tomorrow at the same company but in a new role as a Business Analyst. I'm feeling mixed emotions, as I'm sure you can imagine. Looking forward to new challenges and a little more structure to my day, but of course I'll miss all the extra time with S I've gotten to enjoy all year.

Since free time will become even harder to find than it is now, I'll have to make some choices and sacrifices. Obviously family comes first and work needs to come second. Additional time and effort will be invested into planning for S' birthday and the upcoming holidays, and we're also working toward finishing our basement.

So what does all this mean for Manager to Mom? Well, in the short term you can look forward to a few more reviews & giveaways I have already committed to for some excellent brands and products. In the longer term, I do hope to keep things going to some extent, but you'll almost certainly see a reduction in number of reviews/giveaways and other posts, FB activity, etc. That is, unless I somehow learn to need only 4-5 hours of sleep. ;)

I love blogging and all of my wonderful followers, but life needs balance. Hope y'all understand and still plan to kick around for those times I do manage to emerge for a breath of air and a post or two! :)
